Mr Arjun Shankar is one of London's leading general surgeons with a particular interest in emergency surgery, pancreatic disease, sarcomas and hernia surgery. He is the Surgical Director of London Acute Care and Consultant Surgeon and Clinical Director of Surgery at University College Hospital (UCH).

He teaches at the Royal Society of Medicine on acute surgical emergencies and lectures regularly on sarcoma and pancreatic surgery. He consults privately at the Harley Street Clinic and operates at London Clinic and Harley Street Clinic. He brings with him a highly qualified team of anaesthetists, interventional radiologists and other surgical specialities.
