Paying for your treatment

At the time of your call please have a valid credit/debit card with you as you will be asked to provide these details before we can proceed with your appointment.

Your details together with the valid credit/debit card details will be taken at the time of your call however we will not charge your card until treatment takes place.

Although our consultation charges are fixed they vary depending on place, time and length of your consultation. There also may be other charges added to your bill for any medication, diagnostic tests, admissions etc. We will do our utmost to give you a basic consultation fee at the time of your call, other charges may be given by your Doctor at a later stage.

If you have health insurance, depending on your insurance company cover you may be able to claim for all or part of our service. In these circumstances we would recommend you obtain preauthorisation from your insurance company prior to any consultation/treatment taking place.

Or if you are internationally sponsored patient you can arrange with your sponsor to cover for the charges. If you are a sponsored patient it is essential that you provide a Letter of Guarantee from your embassy or sponsoring organisation, prior to your consultation/treatment. The letter is authorisation for payment for the total cost of your treatment. If you are unable to provide the Letter of Guarantee, you will be required to pay prior to the commencement of your consultation/treatment. However, we will issue you with an invoice and a receipt for your treatment so that you can forward it to your sponsor for reimbursement.

Should hospital admission be required a secondary care access fee of £75 for self pay and £100 for insured patients will apply.

London Acute Care covers all areas of Central London however it may be possible to arrange appointments with patients within Greater London.
